Video Art Installation
The Dream Portal is a hand-crafted video art installation, an illuminated doorway or circular portal mapped with original moving imagery. Each installation is custom-produced for its environment, reading the energy of the festival and the landscape to create a ethereal experience.
A remote dance party on a gravel bar island in the braided Susitna, downstream of the quaint village of Talkeetna — reachable only by raft, packraft, jet boat, or bush plane. The portal took center stage, lifted four feet off the ground and wrapped in driftwood gathered from the island and flowers sourced for the occasion, glowing against the Alaskan dusk.
Cradled between two ancient redwoods in the Los Gatos hills — the portal stood as a luminous threshold within a natural cathedral. An intimate gathering, the installation's iridescent light filtering up through the canopy as dusk fell.
Installed during the total solar eclipse festival — the portal mirrored the celestial event, becoming a terrestrial aperture in the same moment the sun disappeared.
On the playa, dust and starlight — the portal stood as a landmark of transformation. By night, its projected light was visible from across the open desert, drawing pilgrims from every corner of the temporary city.
Placed in the entryway of the festival grounds at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum — a glowing disc on the lawn that every passerby had to cross paths with. Stepping into its light, visitors found their own shadows swallowed by the portal, turning the threshold into a small, spontaneous performance.
A red-framed Door Portal installed lakeside under eucalyptus — by day an object of curiosity, by night a glowing threshold of iridescent video content pulling festival-goers into its shimmering corridor.
A full-scale illuminated doorframe with custom video content — a threshold your guests will walk through and photograph for years.
A freestanding ring of light — the archetypal portal form. Otherworldly by day, transcendent by night. A centrepiece for any gathering.
Available for multi-day festivals with looping content programmes, ensuring the experience shifts and evolves across the event's duration.
Available for music festivals, art fairs, burns, gatherings, and private events. Reach out with your dates, location, and vision — every portal begins with a conversation.
